Cheese in the Trap to air director’s cut

Cable network tvN’s drama, “Cheese in the Trap,” is near its finale, but not quite ready to end its on-air journey. An associate of the drama released a statement that tvN would air the director’s cut version of the drama straight after the final episode of its original run.

“Cheese in the Trap,” is currently airing on tvN every Mondays and Tuesdays at 11 p.m. with its finale set to air on March 1. The director’s cut version of the first episode will follow the finale from 12:20 a.m. to 1:20 a.m. on March 2.

The director’s cut will cover the main events from each episodes and reveal behind-the-scene features about the cast as well.

“Cheese in the Trap” has been under fire recently for its confusing and chaotic plot. There had been speculation on whether the decision to air the director’s cut was to calm the criticism, but a spokesperson for the drama denied this.

“The special episodes are not being aired due to the on-going controversy. It’s our gift of gratitude for the supporting fans of the drama,” the spokesperson said.
