Only the first 100 fans were able to receive the autographs. According to reports, the fans who received the autographs had waited at the high school since Sunday afternoon.

“Thank you so much for coming, both people waiting in the front and back,” said Ryu. “It’s sad that people in the back (could not receive the autographs) but we will meet again.”

“I didn’t know this many people would come,” said Park and thanked the fans.

The cast members had promised fans earlier that if the drama reached 18 percent viewership nationwide, they would wear 1988 outfits and hold a fan-signing event in Ssangmun-dong, where the drama was set. The drama received 19.6 percent viewership ratings for the last episode that was aired in January.
