In the new drama, based on the Japanese novel “Seven Days of Manager Tsubakiyama,” Lee plays Shin Da-hye, who takes a department store job to make a living after her husband passes away. At the store, she encounters her ex-boyfriend Jung Ji-hoon, played by Yoon Park, and works under a handsome manager Lee Hae-joon, played by Rain.

The drama marks Lee’s return to the small screen after her lead role in the 2014 MBC series “Cunning Single Lady.”

It’s also Lee’s first acting role since the adultery and blackmail scandal involving her actor-husband Lee Byung-hun last year, as well as giving birth to their son last March.

The new Wednesday-Thursday series “Please Comeback Mister” will hit the airwaves on SBS network at 10 p.m. on Feb. 24.
