JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young has expressed his desire to work with Chinese musicians in the future.

After receiving the Most Influential Producer of the Year award at the 2015 Weibo Night, Park said he wants to make more “diversified music in collaboration with Chinese musicians.”

“First of all, I’m very honored to be here at Weibo Night and appreciate the organizers for making me an unforgettable memory here. I thank all my Chinese fans for showing their love and support,” Park said.

“If there’s a chance, I would love to make more diversified music in collaboration with Chinese musicians,” he added.

Weibo said, “Park has been recognized for making and producing albums of major artists such as 2PM, Wonder Girls and missA.”

In this year’s award, Nichkhun of boy band 2PM was also crowned as the “Male God of the Year.”

The show recognized K-pop boy band BEAST as the most popular band in the region last year. They were the only K-pop band invited to the event.

In non-music segment, Lee Kwang-soo, Gary and Song Ji-hyo were also crowned for their popularity on SBS variety show “Running Man.”
