“Because of our fans’ steadfast love, we were able to do it,” group leader Taeyeon said.

“The members constantly performed with passion because we wanted to show good music and performances in new ways,” said Tiffany. “If I can brag on my own, it was probably because of our teamwork.”

Girls’ Generation’s Seoul concerts Saturday and Sunday arrived two years and five months since the last. Kicking off with the Seoul concerts, the eight-member band will continue to tour Japan and other Asian cities.

The group’s fifth LP, “Lion Heart,” released in August, topped local charts, proving the girl group’s unparalleled popularity.
