Yoo Hyun-joo, a lawyer from KeumSeong, released the statement on Tuesday, saying, “The prosecution dropped the charges against Junsu,” adding, the prosecution charged the accuser, surnamed Kim, without detention for making false claims.

In November, two construction companies, in charge of building Toscana hotel located on Jejudo Island, sued Junsu for fraud. They said the singer borrowed money from them after writing promissory notes but did not repay.

Junsu’s agency refuted their claims, saying, “Although it is true that he wrote the promissory notes, he did it only for accounting purposes.”

The singer’s agency then countersued the companies for embezzling the materials cost and defamation.
