With only one last episode left for the popular rom-com drama “She Was Pretty,” viewers are wondering if the series will have a happy ending where the protagonists, Ji Sung-joon (Park Seo-joon) and Kim Hye-jin (Hwang Jung-eum), will end up together happily ever after.

On the latest 15th episode that hit the airwaves Thursday, Sung-joon, who is the deputy chief-editor of fashion magazine The Most, was able to achieve his initial goal of reaching the No. 1 spot in terms of magazine sales in the industry, thanks to Kim Shin-hyuk (Choi Si-won), who revealed his real identity as a mysterious novel writer exclusively through the magazine.

Sung-joon, who was sent to Korea to accomplish this mission to make the Korean edition of The Most profitable, was called back by the New York City headquarters. Sung-joon asked his girlfriend Hye-jin to come with him to the States. But she decided to stay in Korea for a while to follow her dream of becoming a children’s book writer.

Before their farewell, both Hye-jin and Sung-joon proposed to each other, promising to marry each other after a year of a long-distance relationship. They kissed and said their good-byes.

Towards the end of the episode, Hye-jin appeared looking happy and said: “Someone has come.” She rode her bicycle to see that person, drawing the curiosity of viewers.

As there has been a lot of speculation about the ending, viewers are waiting in anticipation to see the two, Hye-jin and Sung-joon, finally get married in the end.

The finale of the 16-episode series will air next Wednesday at 10 p.m.
