K-pop singers from JYP Entertainment will not take this year’s state-administered scholastic aptitude test, according to the local news report Wednesday.

Singers who are eligible to take the university entrance exam include K-pop duo, 15&’s Baek Ye-rin, Park Ji-min and Twice’s Jihyo.

“They decided not to take the test because they wanted to focus more on their career. It is true that they may not be able to go to class even when they get accepted to a college which would be damaging to regular students,” said an official of the agency.

Meanwhile, GOT7’s Yu-gyeom has decided to take the test.

The annual college entrance exam is going to be held on Nov. 12.
