Chanyeol from boy group EXO recently warned off “sasaeng fans” in China, referring to fanatic fans who stalk stars and sneak into their private life, via his Weibo social media account Tuesday.

“The reason I am writing here is that I recently went through a very dangerous situation in Shanghai,” said Chanyeol.

“When I was on my way to another place after arriving at Shanghai airport, approximately 20 cars were following us. There were many moments when fans’ cars stood in the way, making the situation very dangerous, which could lead to a car accident,” he added.

He advised Chinese fans to support and root for EXO, but to take into consideration everyone‘s safety.
