Actors Lee Byung-hun, Cho Seung-woo and Yoon Min-sik, together with movie director Woo Min-ho and webtoon artist Yoon Tae-ho, sat down with presenter Park Kyung-rim to introduce their upcoming crime-action flick “The Insiders.”

The method actors explained their characters: Lee a violent gangster, Cho a corrupt prosecutor and Yoon a manipulative newsman.
Yoon Tae-ho, the maker of the unfinished original tale, said that he initially had no intention of turning his cartoon into a movie, however, director Woo’s persistence pushed him to eventually give in.

A prolific creator, Yoon’s previous cartoon, “Moss,” was adapted into a movie in 2010, while another work, “Misaeng,” was made into a hit TV drama in 2014.

“The Insiders” movie will change several details from the original cartoon. Cho’s prosecutor character is a vilified version of the original photojournalist, and Lee’s character is slimmed down while Yoon’s character has become more fashionable. The actors were confident to that viewers would not regret their trips to the theaters.

“The Insiders” will hit cinemas nationwide on Nov. 19.
