Despite mounting concerns over the show, “Sugarman,” managed to appeal to male and female viewers of all ages, with touching episodes and good old songs. For this week’s broadcast, Yoo Jae-suk’s team recreated Mr. 2’s “White Winter,” with trendier arrangement, while Yoo Hee-yeol’s team remixed H Hyun Seung-min’s “Did You Forget,” creating a nostalgic mood for viewers.

Some of the viewers even shed some tears when Hyun's mother appeared on screen and read a letter to her beloved son.

The victory went to Yoo Hee-yeol’s team, with the soft and sweet vocals of Apink’s two members Bomi and Nam-joo.

FT Island joined the V screen from Sapporo, Japan. The members visited a local restaurant for some hairy crab dishes.

“It’s now been nine years already since our debut,” said Jae-jin, adding, “So, it’s kind of hard to figure out which song it is when I listen to our music,” provoking laughter among fans.

All members joined in to play a game where they had to guess the title of the songs after just listening to the first tune. After struggling for a while, the members were able to guess most of the songs correctly.

Rookie nine-member girl group TWICE also joined the V craze with a live showcase on air. The members have already gained huge publicity through a rigorous audition program “Sixteen” by music channel Mnet.

The group has been criticized as it had initially been planned as a seven-member group, but was suddenly expanded to nine members by chief producer Park Jin-young on the last episode of “Sixteen.” The two extra members were Tzuyu and Momo.

“I was surprised at first,” said Momo, adding, “I was then glad to make my debut and I guess I’ll be able to show you my great side.”
Twice’s first album “The Story Begins” is a six-track EP with the lead track “Like Ooh-Ahh,” which is a bubble-gum pop with a catchy chorus and upbeat rhythms.

The members showcased their singing and dance moves, building up anticipation for their next step in the heated music scene.

CNBLUE’s Kang Min-hyuk also had a fun time with fans on V, answering a questionnaire that went viral online as they were allegedly designed to get an insight into respondent’s personality and emotions.

Naver’s newly launched V app, which allows viewers to see stars’ day-to-day life and interact with them in real time, is now available on Android and iOS. Visit www.vlive.tv/ to download the latest segment.
