Cable channel tvN is considering producing a sequel to its recently culminated successful drama “Twenty Again,” reports said Sunday.

“Twenty Again,” steadfastly held onto its first-place crown from Aug. 28, when it took off with a record viewership for the station averaging 3.8 percent among concurrently running programs.

Its final episode, which aired last Saturday, marked an even higher average of 7.6 percent and finished on a record-setting 8.9 percent for tvN.

The success has the producers mulling a sequel titled “Thirty Again,” this time set in a corporate background.

While “Twenty Again” portrayed a woman’s struggle and victory after belatedly entering college, “Thirty Again” will show her adapting to office life.

Benchmarking Korea’s hit office drama “Misaeng” (2014) and recent Hollywood movie “The Intern,” the forthcoming drama will appeal to office workers in their thirties in the latter half of next year.

A person from the production side said the planning will slowly take place as there is ample time left before the anticipated time of broadcast and there will be changes to the original production crew.
