K-pop group Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, now also a successful soloist, commented on her recent win in Mnet’s “M! Countdown” music competition program.

Her Instagram update on Thursday said, “This is my second time to come first in a music program. This album would not have made it without you, SONE,” honoring her fan club.

“Thank you once again and congratulations, SONE, you are the reason I sing,” Taeyeon said.

She held up the trophy from the competition, puckering her lips toward it.

Taeyeon released her solo mini-EP “I” on Oct. 7. Her eponymous title song stayed at the top of online charts for five consecutive days before finally giving way to Zion.T’s “No Make Up” on Monday.
