Kim Woo-bin says ‘Twenty’ was destiny

Actor Kim Woo-bin praised his latest flick “Twenty” at the Busan International Film Festival on Sunday.

“When I read the scenario of the film, I felt like it was destiny,” Kim told the crowd at an outdoor event for the film during the festival. “All the actors thought the same way. I think we were able to create a good film because of this unison.”

“Even after a long period of time in the future, I think I can still say it was destiny.”

Comedy flick “Twenty,” directed by Lee Byeong-heon, is a coming-of-age film centering around three close friends who are all turning 20. Kim, actor Kang Ha-neul and Lee Jun-ho of 2PM starred in the film which premiered in March. The film was invited to screen at the “Korean Cinema Today: Panorama” section of this year’s festival.
