On Friday night, five-member girl group Red Velvet appeared on V app for the last live broadcast of their streaming series.

The girls reminisced on their many memories together. “We used to buy so many snacks at convenience stores,” they said. Irene, in particular, is a huge fan of red bean ice cream, the girls revealed, as opposed to the more popular flavors such as vanilla or chocolate. “She’s like an old lady,” the members teased.

Red Velvet also gave a live performance of “Oh Boy,” showing off impeccable harmonies.

Joo Won

Actor Joo Won, who recently wrapped up his role in the popular drama series “Yongpal,” took V viewers behind the scenes of a press conference for the new thriller movie “It’s Him,” alongside costars Yoo Hae-jin and Lee Yoo-young. The entire press conference was broadcast live via V.

In the film, Joo Won plays Jang-woo, who seeks revenge after his younger sister is murdered. The actor revealed during the conference that he gained eight kilograms and spent a lot of time practicing his rural Korean dialect.

Brand New TV

MC Gree, Hanhae (Naver V app)

Rappers Hanhae and MC Gree, the son of comedian Kim Gu-ra, appeared on Brand New TV, a channel featuring rappers signed to the hip-hop label Brand New Music.

After chatting about the Chuseok holidays (“I went to Japan with my dad,” said MC Gree; “I went to Busan to meet friends and eat good food,” said Hanhae), Hanhae complimented his fellow rapper on his new track “Friends,” which was released last month.

Jun Jin

Jun Jin of veteran boy group Shinhwa also popped up on V app on Friday.

“My girls, did you wait for me?” he said into the camera, then burst out laughing.

Saturday marks the last stage for the singer’s solo release “Wow Wow Wow,” he said. He promised to return soon with a new song and surprise his fans.

Jun Jin will be staging a solo concert on Oct. 24 at Ewha Women’s University.

Kim Yoo-jung

Kim Yoo-jung (Naver V app)

Actress Kim Yoo-jung streamed herself standing on a stunning beach in Busan, where she is currently participating in the Busan International Film Festival.

After the opening of the festival, Kim said she ate sashimi with actors Sung Dong-il and Son Ho-joon, her costars in her recent film “Secret,” directed by Park Eun-kyung and Lee Dong-ha.

“I love eating meat,” the 16-year-old Kim added. “I work out to eat.”

HALO

Five of the six members -- In-haeng, Hee-cheon, Yoon-dong, Jae-yong, Ooon, Dino -- of boy group HALO, who debuted in June 2014, appeared on the second broadcast of HALO’s “Friday Night.”

The boys played various games on screen, including picking up beans with chopsticks, eating cookies and whistling, and sifting for candy in a bowl of flour.
