K-pop boy band FT Island leader Lee Hong-gi attended a meet-and-greet with fans Saturday at a department store in Huangzhou, China.

The fan meeting was originally designed for just 50 people, but nearly 2,000 people gathered. The department store, one of the largest in Huangzhou, was full of his fans, filling up the nine floors.

Some fans followed him to the next stop for his fan meeting -- Wenzhou, which took four hours by car.

The Wenzhou session was delayed because some of the fans fainted.

Meanwhile, the song “Puppy” released by FT Island ranked in the top spot on one of the major Chinese music charts, YinYueTa.
