SM Entertainment said Thursday that Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation is set to drop her first solo album.

“She is currently working on her new album aiming to drop it in autumn, but the exact date of the release has not yet been finalized,” SM said.

The 27-year-old leader of the group took part in many drama soundtracks including, “If” and “Can You Hear Me,” proving her skilled vocals.

Recently, Taeyeon also featured in veteran singer Yim Jae-beom’s new track “Deeper Sorrow than Love,” which was released on Thursday, in celebration of Lim’s 30th anniversary.

She started preparing her album last year, but its release has been postponed due to her busy schedule.
