IKON, the new boy band from YG Entertainment, will make their debut on the Korean music scene on Sept 15, the label said Tuesday.

The seven-member group will first release a single on Sept. 15 and then release a six-track EP on Oct. 1. Finally on Nov. 2, iKON will unveil the 12-track album, containing all the previously released songs along with other tracks.

The announcement was made on YG’s official website with a poster titled “iKON Welcome Back Season Schedule,” with dates from September to November listed.

The band’s promotion is similar to that of Big Bang, who released a pair of songs each month from May to August, all of which topped music charts immediately upon release.

IKON, even before the debut, already made a name through 2013 reality survival program “Win: Who is Next” as Team B, though ultimately losing the competition. After boy band WINNER made their debut last year through the program, iKON received another chance through survival TV show “Mix & Match.”

The rookie band is comprised of leader B.I, Jinhwan, Bobby, Yunhyeong, Junhoe, Donghyuk and Chanwoo.
