K-pop boy band B1A4’s vocalist CNU has been suffering from injury on his knee cartilage, according to industry insiders Friday.

The singer reportedly has been suffering from the injury from August, right before the group’s return. The 24-year-old, however, decided to push ahead with the return, as he did not want to disappoint fans. Unfortunately, he now needs an urgent surgery, according to local news outlets.

His group, on the other hand, is set to hold concerts for two days from Sept. 12 at Yeonsei University’s amphitheater, raising concerns among fans.

The quintet has recently dropped a new track titled “Sweet Girl” after a year of hiatus, garnering praise for the members’ musical talents.
