South Korea‘s leading search portal Naver launched the full Android version of its live-streaming app V on Wednesday, with the iOS version is set to be rolled out in mid-September.

In time for the launch of the full version, K-pop boy band Big Bang members are set to make individual broadcasts over the next five weeks starting from Wednesday.

Leader G-Dragon will host the first show titled “One Plus One Equals G-Dragon -- Let’s Not Do Anything.” The singer, who has been busy making new albums and holding concerts overseas, is expected to go laid-back and relax with his fans on V. On the next show titled “Taeyang‘s I’m Going Now, To Eat” which airs on Sept. 9, member Taeyang will visit fans‘ homes to eat with them.

Since Naver launched its beta version on July. 31, the company has focused on stabilizing the service and advancing its technologies. On the app, featuring 47 K-pop singers and actors, videos were streamed 87 million times in total and 460 million hearts, or likes, were sent by fans.

“Every day, fans in around 210 countries are meeting their K-pop stars via ‘V.’ Users downloading the app overseas account for 60 percent of the total,” said Jang Joon-ki, the director who oversees V’s video technology.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
