Minwoo, a member of K-pop boy group ZE:A, is set to enlist in the South Korean army next month, his agency Star Empire said Wednesday.

Minwoo is scheduled to enter boot camp on Sept. 15, becoming the first member of the group to begin his service, which is compulsory for young Korean men.

However, the agency did not reveal the exact place he would enter, as the 26-year-old doesn’t wish to be under the spotlight on the day of his enlistment.

Minwoo unveiled a handwritten letter on the group’s official fan club Wednesday saying that he hopes to meet his fans again after finishing the service.
