VIXX LR (Naver V app)

It’s official: Leo is the leader of VIXX’s unit group VIXX LR. The decision was made on Naver’s V app Friday, in the waiting room of KBS’ “Music Bank.” Leo had been the de facto leader already, but Ravi said that it was important to make it official. After showing off their individual charms -- Ravi’s bubbly and funny personality and Leo’s strong-but-silent vibe -- the two members played a game of rock-paper-scissors with a toy hammer and pot to make the ultimate decision. Ravi was quicker, but he decided to cede his leader position to Leo.

WINNER and iKON were on the V app for almost half the day, broadcasting a total of ten times. The two groups, who had kicked off the V app at the beginning of August with a battle-style show, seemed to be competing anew for fans’ hearts. They each broadcast five shows, showing what they were doing on their vacation on Jejudo Island.

Winner (Naver V app)

WINNER started their broadcasts right after they woke up, and it was off to the races with breakfast menus that were randomly chosen also through rock-paper-scissors. They also headed to a tourist attraction where they got to touch and play with dolphins, talked to fans while listening to music in the car, splashed around at the beach, and had a very Jeju-style dinner of sashimi and meat. All told, WINNER wound up with over 14.2 million hearts for their vacation clips.

IKON also began their broadcasts with food, although they were at a restaurant serving meat and noodles. After eating, the group went riding on go-carts, played requested songs for fans at a cafe overlooking the ocean and played games at an arcade before heading to a dinner of Jeju-style barbecue. IKON also racked up an impressive number of hearts, tallying up over 9 million.

Monsta X also turned on the app to celebrate the 100th day since their debut, and they marked the special occasion by showing fans their practice room. They had a small party with their fans as well, with a cake and candles. Over 22,000 fans tuned in to congratulate them on a successful first 100 days.

Girls’ Generation aired the fourth installment of their “8 Beauties” show, after their first performances of new songs “You Think” and “Lion Heart.” They were joined by Red Velvet’s Irene, who asked them questions about their new album.

Other quick appearances were made by Beast’s Kikwang on the set of “Mrs. Cop” and Juniel backstage at KBS’ “Music Bank.”
