The band’s label YG Entertainment shared a celebratory image captioned “Congratulations, Since 2006,” featuring a collage of photos of Big Bang and its album covers in the shape of number nine.

The five-member band is one of the most successful and long-lasting K-pop groups in the industry. Composed of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, Big Bang made its debut on Aug. 19, 2006. The band came into the spotlight after releasing “Lie” in 2007. Since then, they have dropped a string of huge hits, including “Last Farewell,” “Fantastic Baby” and “Day by Day.”

In May, Big Bang returned to the music scene breaking a three-year-hiatus with a special album “MADE” series. Under the four-month-long project, the band has dropped two pairs of chart-topping singles each month.
