K-pop boy band Big Bang has decided to postpone the release date of its full-length album from Sept. 1 to a later date.

“Big Bang has been busy for the past four months and we felt the members need some time off to recharge themselves,” the band’s label YG Entertainment said on Tuesday.

In addition, they will work on new songs during the break to release a quality album. The exact release date of the album is yet to be confirmed.

The five-member band has dropped two pairs of singles each month from May under the special project album “MADE.” All the eight songs that were released as of August have topped music charts immediately after the release.

The studio album “MADE” will contain all the previously released songs and other special tracks.
