Singer Lee Jong-hyun from CNBLUE and actress Gong Seung-yeon, who had been a lovey-dovey couple in MBC reality show “We Got Married,” are set to drop from the program, according to a local media outlet Monday.

Since joining the program in March, the two have been loved by fans across Asia as they showed off great chemistry as if they are a real couple. The two, however, decided to focus on their respective careers after spending five months together as a couple on the program. The exact date and their replacements are yet to be decided.

The show “We Got Married,” which pairs up Korean celebrities to show what life would be like if they were married, has gained huge popularity in Asia, since its first broadcast in 2008.

Apart from Lee Jong-hyun and Gong Seung-yeon, two couples -- Red Velvet’s Joy and BTOB’s Yook Sung-jae; actress Kang Ye-won and actor Oh Min-suk -- are starring in the show. The show’s next episode is set to be aired on Saturday at 5 p.m.
