Singer Shindong of K-pop boy group Super Junior confirmed his breakup with model Kang Si-nae, according to Shindong’s label SM Entertainment Monday.

The two had confirmed their relationship in April 2014, after local media outlets revealed photos of the two on a date at a shopping mall in Seoul. The couple, however, had split up on the same month of the report, while their agencies refused to give the exact date and the reason behind the breakup.

Shindong has been serving out his military duty since March 2014.
