Kim uploaded a picture of himself and the audience, who gave a standing ovation, through his Twitter on the same day.

He added, “I could successfully finish the ’Death Note‘ musical due to all your support! Thank you so much.”

“Death Note” is a story about the confrontation between the characters Light Yagami and L with a supernatural notebook that causes a person to die by writing the person’s name in it. While Light Yagami fights for justice by writing down the names of criminals, L tries to stop him.

Kim Jun-su starred as the character L, a genius detective in the musical. He received acclaim for his skillful vocals and acting along with his resemblance in appearance to the character.

Kim is slated to meet with fans through “2015 JYJ Membership Week” at Seoul Art Gallery from Aug. 17-30, with plans to hold a photo exhibition of the members along with the fan meeting.
