[V Report Plus] Real-time broadcasting ‘V’ launched on iOS

Naver unveiled the iOS version of its latest broadcasting app “V” on Tuesday.

Now, iPhone and iPad users can use the app to watch their favorite K-pop stars go live to interact with global audiences in real time.

The Android version of the app -- which was launched on Friday ? has already garnered over 610,000 downloads and ranked No. 1 on Google Play’s Entertainment section.

On Tuesday, K-pop boy band Big Bang will meet with fans via the app at 11 p.m., ahead of releasing two new singles at midnight. During the live broadcast, Big Bang will unveil the song “Fantastic” and its dance steps.

Stellar lineup of stars are scheduled for the remaining week. SHINee will broadcast three times, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday via SM Town channel. B1A4 will hold their live concert on Thursday. On Friday, F.T. Island will reveal their preview of the upcoming concert, while BTS will showcase their trip to Thailand.

To enjoy “V,” users can download the app on Google Play and iTunes store and log in with their Naver, Facebook, Line or Twitter accounts. Users can select as many stars’ V channel as possible, and they will be notified about the stars’ schedule on their mobile phone.
