Singer Shinwoo from B1A4 thanked his fans at the final stage of musical “Chess,” in which he starred as a Russia’s chess champion Anatoly. His character falls in love with American woman Florence during the Cold War.

During the final curtain call, the teary-eyed singer walked up to the stage and said, “I was really worried at first because I was so inexperienced. I would like to thank all the senior actors, actresses, all the staff and the orchestra.”

Extending special thanks to the fans who came to the performance, he said, “I’ve always been thinking about how to give back the love I’ve received from you. I hope this musical piece is a special gift for you.”

The singer’s group B1A4 is set to release a new album in August.
