K-pop summer battle intensifying

For K-pop fans, the summer season is heating up more than expected as high-profile K-pop girl groups such as Girls’ Generation, Girl’s Day, Sistar and AOA have made strong performances on online and offline stages with new songs.
Other major groups -- Super Junior, Beast, SHINee, B1A4, Wonder Girls -- are also scheduled to return to the stage this summer.

Major K-pop groups are orchestrating their comeback with meticulous plans to stay ahead in the heated competition, trying not to overlap with other group’s activities.
The groups are taking part in major showbiz programs to boost their standing and promote their new songs in Korea and elsewhere.
