Big Bang music videos break 200m view mark

Popular K-pop group Big Bang’s latest music videos had recorded more than 200 million views on YouTube, QQ and Youku, as of Tuesday.

The quintet have introduced five music videos in the past three months as part of its ongoing “MADE” project.

All added up, the videos -- “Loser,” “Bae Bae,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “We Like 2 Party” and “Sober,” -- garnered 137 million accumulated views on YouTube, plus over 69 million views on China’s QQ Music and Youku, totaling more than 200 million online hits.

Big Bang further solidified its status when it swept the top prizes with performances on competition shows Mnet’s “M! Countdown” and SBS’ “Inkigayo.”

Meanwhile, global K-pop star Psy’s “Gangnam Style” remains the most viewed video on YouTube, having amassed an astounding 2.3 billion views.
