Rookie K-pop boy group BTS, or Bangtan Boys, finally revealed photos Thursday that were taken previously in May at one of the world’s best holiday resort cities, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, via major Korean portal Naver’s “Starcast.”

The first few shots were taken in and around a swimming pool at a local beachside hotel. The photos show the boys, relaxing and enjoying their time together in their striped shirts. The group members did not sport fake smiles and unnatural poses for the shoot. Instead, they displayed themselves simply and plainly as they were.

The rest of the photos were taken on a nearby beach. The photos were taken from far in the distance while the boys were having fun in the water, lending them a kind of voyeuristic authenticity.

But shortly after they took off, it turned around, dunking the boys into the water.

Perching on a wall, j-hope sports a lovely smile in his pure white outfit, which harmonizes well with the glittering blue-green sea.
