Local media recently reported that the K-pop boy band Super Junior will release a special album at the end of July or early August. The group’s label SM Entertainment confirmed that the group is preparing for its next album, but the exact date has yet to be decided.

Member Yesung, who officially completed his two-year military service in March, will join the group, making a nine-member outfit.

The special album arrives a year after the band’s last full-length album “Mamacita” in August 2014.

This year also marks the tenth anniversary since Super Junior’s debut in 2005. The band will meet with fans on July 11-12 at Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastic Arena for a duo of concerts titled “Super Show 6.”

Seven-member Infinite will drop its new album “Reality” on July 13 and kick off the summer battle.

The album arrives a year after the last album “Be Back” in July 2014. During the hiatus the group members pursued individual activities and released multiple albums as sub-units.

Infinite H -- consisting of Hoya and Dongwoo -- released its second EP in January, while Sungjong, Sungyeol and L debuted in Japan as Infinite F.
Once the members release their album as a group, Infinite will kick off its second world tour titled “Infinite Effect” in Seoul Olympic Gymnastic Stadium on August 8 and 9.

Five-member B1A4, who debuted in 2011, will also drop an album in August.
The group, known for releasing self-produced, self-composed songs, will heat the summer stage up with their original songs.
