An upcoming vampire drama series, “The Scholar Who Walks the Night,” has released concept photos of its main characters.

“The Scholar Who Walks the Night” is an upcoming MBC TV drama scheduled to start broadcasting next week.

Main actor Lee Joon-gi (MBC)

Main actors are Lee Joon-gi and Lee Yu-bi, while supporting actors include Lee Soo-hyuk, Kim So-eun and K-pop singer Changmin from TVXQ.

The drama series is a romantic tale about vampire scholars living in Korea’s Joseon dynasty. The character portraits show the actors dressed in hanbok, the traditional Korean costume.

Lee Joon-gi stars in the main role as vampire scholar Seong-ryeol, whose love interest is played by Lee Yu-bi. Both Lee Joon-gi and Lee Yu-bi were injured last month during shooting for the drama series.

“The Scholar Who Walks the Night” is scheduled to air on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 p.m. starting July 8.
