An SBS entertainment program highlighted how Park and Lee were very comfortable with each other while shooting the hit TV drama “Pinocchio,” in which they played the central couple.

“It’s the first time I’ve seen such a handsome actor,” said Park in a joint interview footage with Lee aired on the program.

“I really think Park Shin-hye is pretty,” said Lee in the same footage.

“When I don’t suit my costar in acting projects, it‘s really difficult, but I’ve never had a moment like that so far with Lee Jong-suk,” said Park.

The SBS entertainment program said that the two stars enjoyed a friendship that was not confined to work, based on clips that showed the two stars smiling and being playful with each other off-camera while shooting “Pinocchio.”

Park and Lee have become international hallyu icons with fans from far-reaching countries, after their appearance in the romantic TV drama “Pinocchio,” which was a drama series about two journalists who fall in love.

The celebrity entertainment program aired Wednesday at 11:15 p.m.
