Korean actor Lee Joon-gi has become the promotional ambassador for a luxury hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Seoul.

The Ritz-Carlton Seoul, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, plans to conduct “hallyu” activities with Lee for the next year.

“Lee Joon-gi has a classic but also modern image, which is well-suited to the Ritz-Carlton hotel. We are impressed by his consistently bright personality and modesty,” said a hotel spokesperson.

Lee is shooting for an upcoming TV drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night,” which is scheduled to start in July.
