Singer Nam Tae-hyun of YG Entertainment’s rookie group WINNER will star in a TV drama “Midnight Diner,” slated to air from late June.

“Midnight Diner” is an upcoming SBS Saturday night show about a special restaurant with odd opening hours from midnight to seven in the morning.

Plotted as an omnibus, the drama will depict the stories of the people that visit the diner, and the thought-out recipes that heal their tired and bruised morale.

Nam will act the role of Minwoo, a hard-working good-natured boy who works at the restaurant.

The 20-year-old budding star previously showed stable acting in a Web drama “Midnight Love Fantasy” that concluded May 14.
