Girls' Generation (SM Entertainment)

Girls’ Generation will drop its new album end of June or early July. The exact date is yet to be confirmed. The upcoming album is the first album to be released as an eight-member group, since the departure of former member Jessica Jung in 2014.

The album arrives one year and five months since the last album “Mr. Mr.” in February 2014.

Sistar (OSEN)

Girl group Sistar -- consisting of Soyou, Bora, Dasom and Hyorin -- will return to the stage mid-June, according to its label Starship Entertainment.

Sistar’s past hit songs, including “Loving You,” “Give It To Me” and “Touch My Body,” were all released in the summer, giving them the title “summer girl group.” The group’s upcoming album will keep their signature dynamic dance moves and exciting tunes to hit the summer season.

Girl's Day (Dream T Entertainment)

Girl’s Day will join the race when the four-member group -- consisting of Sojin, Minah, Yura and Hyeri -- drops its second LP on July 6.

The group, which has garnered fame through hit songs such as “Something,” “Darling,” “Expectation” and “Female President,” is in high hopes to exude the members’ sexy charms through the new release.

Apink (A Cube Entertainment)

Six-member group Apink is also on schedule to join the heated summer battle as the group will return in July, eight months after its last single “Pink Luv” in November.
