The latest episode of KBS2 TV drama “The Producers” recorded its highest viewership rating since it kicked off on May 15.

According to the ratings research company Nielsen Korea, the sixth episode of “The Producers” airing Saturday pulled a nationwide viewership of 13.5 percent, its highest rating to date.

The figure is 2.3 percentage points higher than that recorded for the previous episode.

The drama, which premiered with a healthy double-digit rating of 10.1 percent, has been on a solid streak as its plot deepens and relationships among characters became more complex.

The latest episode of MBC drama “Queen‘s Flower” and the SBS drama “Divorce Lawyer in Love” that aired at the same time slot reached ratings of 11.3 percent and 3.7 percent, respectively.

The KBS series received overwhelming publicity due to its all-star cast including Kim Soo-hyun, who rose to pan-Asian fame with his role in 2014’s “My Love from the Star” as an alien professor.

“The Producers” airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:15 p.m.
