K-pop group MBLAQ, recently regrouped as a trio after the departure of two members last year, unveiled its second comeback teaser image Monday.

In the set of revealed photos, the three members -- Seungho, G.O. and Mir -- display the maturity of stars marking their sixth year since their debut.

Starting out in 2009 as a quintet formed by veteran singer Rain, MBLAQ is now a trio after members Lee Joon and Thunder decided not to renew their contract with the agency last December.

The upcoming album “Mirror” is MBLAQ’s 8th mini-album and first as a trio.

The remaining three members of MBLAQ said, “As we spent a number of months contemplating and struggling to create ’good music,’ we are confident to show what we have. Please look forward to our comeback, because we will show you our perfect selves, so much so that you won’t feel the absence of the former members.”

“We will continue the name MBLAQ because we think that is the best way to repay our fans. We made this album thinking of those who firmly stood by our side.”

The trio will premiere their new songs at Ilchi Art Hall on June 9.

Lee Joon, singer-turned-actor and a former member of MBLAQ, supported the group in an interview with local media saying, “I hope (the album) turns out great.”
