Actress Park Shin-hye impressed viewers with her cooking skills on local reality program "Three Meals a Day," in which she appeared beside K-pop singer Ok Taec-yeon.

Park appeared as the first guest on the cooking program's third episode, broadcast Friday. "Three Meals a Day" takes place in Korea's countryside and features Taecyeon, a member of 2PM, and actor Lee Seo-jin as regulars.

Park helped prepare the Japanese meal shabu-shabu with a Korean noodle dish known as janchi guksu.

She also helped cook a Korean pancake-like dish called pajeon, cubed radish kimchi and garlic sauce.

The film crew praised the actress' cooking skills, in particular her deft knife skills, saying, "What is there you can't do?"

While slicing the side dish of cubed radish kimchi, she sat opposite Taecyeon in a small room. Actor Kim Kwang-kyu, who was also on the program, spotted the pair and joked to crew members, "Am I allowed to go in? There are just the two (of them) in there."

Filming crew lightly teased Park about Taecyeon during the program -- Park merely said that the singer, who is two years older than her, was "warm, funny and positive."

Park was also affectionate toward two dogs that appeared on the show, feeding them slices of meat.

"Park Shin-hye created some unforgettable memories during her three days and two nights on the show," said Park's agency in response to the positive feedback. "She always works hard and with a positive mindset, so she was able to have an even happier time with the members of 'Three Meals a Day.'"

The episode was broadcast on Friday at 9:45 p.m. and was the most-watched episode of the new series, with national ratings of 12.1 percent -- far above its 8.7 percent average.
