Singer-turned-actor Lee Joon, who left the boy band MBLAQ in December, wished good luck to the group ahead of its album release.

“I read the news this morning, and I hope (the album) turns out great,” said Lee during an interview with local media in Seoul on Thursday. “I don’t know what kind of songs (they will be releasing) but I am sure they will do well.”

MBLQ’s label J.Tune Camp on Wednesday announced that the now three-member group will release an album in June, marking its return to the music scene for the first time since two members, Lee and Cheondung, left last year.

Lee, however, said he wants to focus on acting for now.

“I want to fully concentrate on acting right now and for a while,” Lee said. “But if I have an opportunity to become a singer again, I can do that too.”

Lee is currently starring in popular SBS drama “Heard it Through the Grapevine,” which airs Monday and Tuesday at 9:55 p.m.
