Singer Jay Park, also known as Park Jae-beom, on Wednesday unveiled a reaction video for his upcoming single “Mommae” on his official YouTube channel.

The two-minute long video features 12 teams of people from age 20 to 40 watching the music video of “Mommae” and responding to it.

While one male viewer said “Yeah, that’s fresh,” another female viewer said the video was uncomfortable to watch.

“It’s usually kind of awkward when Korean singers do this,” said a male who identified as DJ Nova. “But he looks really comfortable and natural.”

Comedian Shin Dong-yup watched the video and responded as well. “Thank you,” Shin said with a smile after watching the clip. “The song is good.”

Shin also said “I see, Jay Park,” a comment that drew curiosity from viewers.

Jay Park’s new single “Mommae,” featuring hip-hop artist Ugly Duck, will be released on Friday.
