Actor Lee Min-ho's latest acting project "Gangnam Blues" will hit Malaysia on Thursday, according to Korean film industry insiders.

"Gangnam Blues," also known as "Gangnam 1970," hit Korean theaters earlier this year on Jan. 21. It has received limited screening in other Asian countries, North America and Australia.

The crime noir film was released in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia after its Korean release.

The original movie was edited to include more scenes of actor Lee for its release in countries like China.

"Gangnam Blues" is about the friendship and rivalry of two impoverished friends against the backdrop of the real estate development of Seoul's Gangnam district, one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods during the 1970s.
