"High Society" is a melodrama about a woman seeking love while hiding her social standing as an heiress and an ambitious man pursuing romance with well-connected women as a way to achieve success.

Uee, who previously starred in the TV drama series "Hogu's Love," will enact Jang Yoon-ha, the youngest daughter of a conglomerate owner employed as a part-time worker at a grocery store.

"I'm happy to get a chance to act in such a nice drama," said Uee through her management company. "I'll give it my all."

Lim, who starred in erotic film "Obsessed" last year, will star as Uee's on-screen friend Lee Ji-hee, a hard-working and affectionate but "not particularly smart" girl, according to the production company.

Actor Sung will play a deputy head of a company, who succeeds in spite of his poor family background. Park will star as the owner of a department store, who is a "charming" and frivolous spender, who coincidentally happens to be interested in a part-time worker at a grocery store.
