Baekhyun of K-pop idol group EXO is considering a role in the forthcoming Web-based drama “Dokgo,” according to industry insiders Tuesday.

Baekhyun, who is currently participating in another Web drama titled “EXO Next Door” with his nine fellow group members, was offered the role of a student reluctantly involved in a school gang.

Based on the Web comic of the same name, “Dokgo” tells the story of a student who tries to take his revenge on the school gang members on behalf of his brother, a victim of school violence.

It has been earlier reported that actor Yeo Jin-goo confirmed to star in the drama. He will play a double role as twins Kang Hoo and Kang Hyuk.

Director Woo Seon-ho is set to take the helm of the drama, according to the reports.
