Hundreds of fans flocked to Seoul's top shopping district Thursday to catch a glimpse of K-pop boy group EXO members, who unveiled a revamped "nature-simulation" cosmetics store.

Suho, Kai and D.O., who are members of EXO, attended the opening ceremony for Nature Republic's "Myeong-dong World" store located in Myeong-dong, which is now completely covered in live foliage.

The facade of the five-story building is covered with about 50,000 spindle trees and surrounded by granite outdoor seats. The interior of the store is similarly themed around forests and greenery, decorated with hardwood colors and plants.

A spokesperson for Nature Republic, a Korean cosmetics company, said Wednesday the store offers "nature and rest for customers (tired) from city life.

"We hope to become a global landmark among Korean and foreign shoppers seeking out the 'K-beauty' trend," said the spokesperson.

Taeyeon, the group leader of another K-pop group Girls' Generation, also attended the event.

Both EXO and Taeyeon are current models for Nature Republic.
