K-pop singer CL, a member of feisty quartet 2NE1, features in new ads for American makeup brand Maybelline.

CL, who has been the longtime model for the brand in Korea, showcases Maybelline's mascara Mega Eyes Waterproof Mascara in photos shared from the set.

The 24-year-old singer and rapper said that she often uses the product herself for her strenuous onstage performances. The product has a "micro duo-brush" that is suitable for both upper and lower eyelashes.

CL recently returned from the U.S., where she recorded her upcoming solo album, which will mark her debut in the American music scene later this year.
