K-pop singer Nichkhun is rumored to star in his first full-length Korean drama role this winter, though his management has stressed that "nothing has been confirmed."

The drama series "Murim Hakwon" (working title), which is still in the casting stage, has been rumored to feature the member of boy group 2PM as an overseas Thai student, according to local reports.

A production spokesperson told a local news outlet this past weekend that Nichkhun's casting was "highly probable."

His management JYP Entertainment responded, saying, "He has only received the proposal ... nothing has been confirmed about his casting."

Nickhun, who is from Thailand, has made cameos in television shows and short Chinese, Japanese and Korean dramas, but "Murim Hakwon" would be his first appearance in a full-length Korean drama series, if he decides to take on the role.

The 26-year-old singer is a member of the popular six-member group 2PM, which debuted in 2008.
