According to Kim’s agency, he sent a handwritten letter to a deceased fan after her friends requested it.
It was made public after they posted it online.
In the letter Kim thanked the deceased fan, and said that he was able to complete a meeting with Chinese fans.
“Where you are now must be more beautiful than where you were,” he wrote.
He went on to say that he hoped to meet her one day, and that he asks for her support until that day.
“I thank you for being my fan. Thank you, and we are sorry. Hope to see you soon.”
